@anime! Magazine Returns to the Webwaves


8 August 2003 - Orem, Utah -- Animetro Studios is proud to announce the release of the first issue of the NEW @anime! Magazine, the first new issue since July 2002. @a! returns with new staff, a renewed energy and plenty of anime and manga goodness to go around.

"It's been a good opportunity to restart the magazine with a new staff that is excited about the world of anime and manga," said Timothy Georgi, Publisher/Editor for @anime!. "We've had some exceptional individuals join the crew in the last few months and I think we have a great crew to take us to the next level. It's going to be a fun ride in the coming months."

In Volume 1, Issue 1 you'll find two special features. First we take a look into "The World" of Bandai Entertainment's .hack//SIGN. Then we explore the one-man show of Makoto Shinkai and his masterpiece, Voices of a Distant Star, released by ADV Films. We'll also show you some fun from the con circuit with coverage of the San Diego Comic-Con International which took place this last month at the San Diego Convention Center. Then we round things out with a look at the manga series Angel's Wing from PLEX. As always, we have columns, our release schedule on The Shelf and some words from the editdesk.
